so in the past month ive opened an ebay store http://stores.ebay.ca/ai2-2t and became a power seller .. i see there are benifits like, disscounts,and beable to offer free shipping .. if i was in the USA .. but for Canada they dont offer alot .. discounts for selling .. 

is there something im missing ?

In Canada you can be a Top Rated Seller.

The first (Bronze) level of discounts on fees is 20%.

I don't pay much attention to it though, because my business plan allows me to make money even if I pay full fees on every listing and every sale.

That's disconcerting.

Any seller can offer Free Shipping.

It just means you are including the cost of shipping (and packaging) in the asking price of the item listed.

Which is cheapest?

A $5 item with $10 shipping

A $10item with $5 shipping

A $15 item with Free Shipping?

Same price to the buyer, but for the seller the last ($15+FS) is cheaper because there are no FVF on shipping even on international/US sales where you do charge shipping.

Shipping FVF are based on the first domestic shipping fee. If that is 'free' then there are zero FVF.

And you do know you get discounts between 5% and 17% off from PO counter prices when you buy certain shipping services through Paypal, right? Again, any seller gets these discounts.
