purchased item NOT WORKING.

I bought an item with free shipping.  It does not work.  The return shipping is greater than what I paid fo rthe item.  Seller states I must return it for refund or new item.  Doesnt make sense that I should pay $80.00 for a $40.00 refund?  Please help!

Simply open a dispute and let paypal handle the situation-not sure what the outcome will be-had same thing happen-seller sent another and did not require I send the other back-after second one did not work he sent a full refund. Only recourse I know of.
