what dos it mean when a selling say my address is unconfirmed

seller is refusing my item because he says my address is unconfirmed what does that mean

hes cheating me out of my crosby jersey and reposted not giving me a chance to pay for it

Hi , that is an unusual occurrence. Not confirmed means your PayPal account is not verified. PP confirms addresses by checking the billing address when a credit card is added to an account.

Confirmed should not be the issue.  Seller looks at "detail" of your payment page and will show "eligible" for Seller Protection or not. It should show eligible whether your account is verified or not but only seller can confirm that.

Seller's protection is not contingent on a confirmed address as it once was. Some seller may not be aware.

PS ..If a credit card cannot be added , might be worth a call to PP and explain the refusal. PP can do a mail confirmation by giving a code that can be entered. Toll free 1-888-221-1161.
