What is a private buyer?  Is it a person or simply a Reserved price gimmick?

If you mean private feedback it is just setting you can use ... All buyers can make there feedback private .. Sellers can not ..

Personally I think it is a bad idea because even if the buyer is amazing to me it says there is something to hide

I MEANT- "private listing" WHEN I go to check who is bidding this is what I GET.
Most of the time I get (a..b(203)).

If the seller uses the private listing format then all bidders on that item will show as "Private Bidder"
