EBay does not allow sellers to ask for money orders (or cheques or cash) as payment. Buyers can offer these, but even then sellers can refuse them. EBay tells buyers to use an electronically visible method of payment, usually Paypal, but there are a few other options, so that the unhappy buyer can obtain a refund.
Experienced members further advise that the buyer back her Paypal account with a credit card, which both gives truly instant payment and an extra layer of protection throught the card's "chargeback" program.
At this point, you can leave appropriate feedback and appropriate Detailed Seller Ratings. The normal Rating is Five, because sellers are harmed by lower Ratings. The lowest Rating is ONE.
You have up to 60 days to leave Feedback and Detailed Seller Ratings.
If the seller asks to have your feedback revised, make sure you have a refund in your hand before you agree.
