$5 coupon

In my email I received a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $5.01 and up. The code doesn't appear to be working. The category I'm trying to purchase from is not one of the blacklisted categories. Anyone else run into this?

An ebay coupon?

Buying from a listing on ebay.CA or ebay.COM ?

Paying with paypal?

What time range does it have for using?

It's an ebay coupon from "ebay Canada" that was emailed to me today. I'm assuming it's only good on dot ca. It's good until October 13th. It gives me a code to enter at checkout, but when I do I get an error message telling me it's wrong.

And what does the fine print say?

Those coupons always come with some. Where you can buy, what you can buy and how you pay.

Is the account that got the email the same as the account you are using to purchase?

Most coupons exclude taxes and some exclude shipping when determining the minimum qualifying price.

And it could be an eBay glitch.  tyler@ebay

This is the email I got. I am not buying in one of the ineligible categories. I do not see the coupon in "My ebay", so maybe I was sent the email in error. I have no idea.
