Access to purchase history.

Excuse my ignorance ,,, is it standard procedure for anyone to have access to your purchase history ?? or am I missing something here ??

Thanks.

Re: Access to purchase history.

Only for 90 days as long as feedback has been left

and it is not a private auction.

Re: Access to purchase history.

Toby, I think it is Standard Procedure now though you may be right in regards to Private Auctions.

I can go back to my Friendly Competitors IDs, see everything they sold & everything they did not sell in the last ninety days regardless if Feedback has been left or not.

I think its been that way for a few years now.

Re: Access to purchase history.

You can set your feedback to private.

However people can still see anything you have purchased in the last 30 days by doing an advanced search by user ID.

Re: Access to purchase history.

Something changed a little while ago.

I can't quite my finger on it but you can't go as far back as you could a few months ago.

Items get removed sooner than they used to.

I'm pretty sure about that, but maybe not 100%.

Re: Access to purchase history.

Yes, completed purchases.

You can do an advanced search for a buyer and it seems like it doesn't go as far back as it used to.

I think it changed a couple of months ago. (Something did.)

I think the items still show up on FB for 90 days.

Re: Access to purchase history.

Confused again.

Completed purchases, completed sales, both, one or the other ???

Still not sure what FB has to do with it.

Re: Access to purchase history.

It used to be that you could go to advanced search and plug in a buyer id and get a history of completed purchases that went way back.  I think it was 90 days, and some buyers had pages and pages of items they'd bid on and/or purchased.

That seems to me to have changed recently.

Now it seems go back a about a month.

You can still see the items on FB.  Nothing has changed there.

Try it and tell me what you think.

(I don't know about completed sales.)

Re: Access to purchase history.

Gotcha, i should have looked at the original topic which mentions "Access to Purchase History "

Adding to the topics when unnecessary is so unlike me. lol.

Just tried it & can only go back sixty days, i think it was ninety days at one time also.

I guess you can see some items on FB History but only for the ones that leave feedback. I'm not sure.

Re: Access to purchase history.

That's it, but I can't find any that go back more than 30 days.
