CAN EBAY CRACK DOWN ON CHINESE COSTUME SCAMMERS?????

Scammed once and refunded, now i bet ive walked into another. after this time im  now famillar with the signs to watch out for. All these accounts pushing dollar store **bleep** with 100% feedback, suddenly putting out 50+ auctions for expensive costumes. they may have  recent join dates with in a year ago sometimes several years though. all bogus ripping people for $60- $100 bucks each and then they vanish. PLEASE EBAY PAYPAL JUST CLOSE THESE PUNKS DOWN BEFORE THEY EVEN START!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a Report button on every listing. Use it. 

If you fall for the scam, and dont' get your item in 30 days (you have 45 but 30 is enough even from Asia) file the Item Not Received dispute and get your refund. The dispute will be noted by eBay on his selling account. 

If more than 45 days have passed, ignore Paypal /eBay and go to the 1-800 customer service number for the credit card you actually paid with (PP is just a mediatior). Ask for a chargeback. Have all your paperwork ready to held the clerk process your refund. 

Even more important, before bidding, read the sellers feedback and detailed Seller Ratings.

Many of these scammers operate on a string of shill accounts that come & go with alarming rapidity. Detailed ratings are quite often entirely useless.

Then only order from companies with a long track record. Several hundred over several years or several thousand over several months.

Pay attention to what the negative and neutral feedback actually say. Remember that a certain percentage of those negs will be from the fringe and consistently unhappy. Also learn what the anonymous Detailed Seller Ratings actually mean.

It's your money. Protect it.  Caveat Emptor.
