Didn't send my Return with the Tracking option to the U.S.

Bought some shoes from the U.S.

Seller and I agreed to do a return. Sent via Canada Post - "Small Packet USA" aka not tracking. I realized the seller could just claim they didn't receive my return and I would have no proof that it did. So I searched for some info and it seems like that does happen; but all the information was quite old. The seller seems reputable, but if they choose to pull that trick, is there any way I can combat this?

Thanks

I'm not sure if you can take the label to your local Post Office (not postal outlet) and ask about upgrading on your own dime.

The cost , if even possible, would be under $5. You want a Tracked Parcel USA label.

It is possible that the seller did not know the difference. I ship to the USA every day, but know almost nothing about USPS standards and rates.

Without tracking the sender (which is you in this case) cannot electronically prove return delivery.

I hope your PO clerks are in a good mood.
