Purchase history can be viewed for the current year and the previous 2 calendar years. You have to select what you want to see. The default display is for the last 60 days.

Is your seller Not A Registered User?

Has the transaction information disappeared because he has been booted off the site?

Your payment information is still on Paypal.

You can open a Not Received dispute for the 30 days after the last estimated delivery date eBay gave you in their email when you purchased.

Or you have 180 days from Payment to open a Dispute on Paypal.

If you paid with a credit card, bypassing Paypal, you can phone the card's 1-800 number and ask about a chargeback.
