Impulse bought suspicious listing...

I just bought what is obviously a scam for some reason. Guess I was expecting something. Then within an hour, I sobered up and filed a cancellation.

Of course it didn't go through (still pending), the item was removed and seller banned the very next day. It didn't even ship.

I'm not sure exactly what should I do.... Do I need to wait before filing in eBay Resolution Centre? Go straight to PayPal? Or...? Thanks.

PayPal will probably let you open an Item Not Received case sooner.

You’ll need to check the transaction within your account activity with PayPal.

I should think you'd be able to do so with Paypal within a few days, yes.
