seller's are able to ask what ever price they want for the items they sell.. If the seller is selling necessities then you can report them, otherwise i suggest you look at seller's that are more local..

I'd like a diamond and sapphire tiara, but Tiffany's is charging way too much.

If this is the only seller, then the price is what the market will bear.

Your budget is smaller than he wants to sell it for.

Find another seller or adjust your willingness to pay or do without.

Value of an item and actual cost to ship have nothing to do with one another.

India seller charging way too much

what are you talking about

I bought this item on eBay for the past Eight years @ $10 USD

The seller I'm referring to needs $100

Therefore, I don't think the seller has any Excuse and he should be out of selling on eBay

Well, there is your solution. Go to the buyer you purchased it from within the last 8 years for $10 USD.

Wait, what?  That seller is no longer selling on line?  How about finding another vendor. See?  Easy Peasy.

Wait, what?  There is absolutely positively no other seller on line with this item?  At any price?

Seems to me you have 2 choices.  Pay the sellers price or, do without whatever the item is.

Reporting them?   For what?  Practicing the art of supply and demand.  Last I heard, other than some/many life's essentials, is perfectly ok.  And yes, ok with eBay as well.
