I recently saw 3 lenovo thinkpads that were bid up to about 20 bids by buyers with 1 and 0 feedback,and then the seller went to private bidders list .The private bidders list needs to stop . Ebay is enabling these shill bidders by allowing it .

You can prevent being shilled by :
Bid once bid late and bid only your maximum.

OR

Bid once, bid only your maximum, and use a sniping service that will place your bid at the very last nano-second.

These both have the same effect, obviously.

Remember, shills don't want to win. They want YOU to win, at your highest bid.

And they bid to push you up, until they beat your max and then they retract.

Late bidding avoids that.

BTW-- unless the seller has high feedback, no gaps in listing and selling, and is based in North America, those thinkpads don't exist.
