For the last while whenever I search items for sale on ebay google chrome lags really bad. It lags so bad that it actually freezes up occasionally. It's like something just constantly keeps hitting refresh until it starts to freeze up.
When I try it with windows explorer it doesn't seem to lag at all when I search items but mind you I am never logged into ebay while using explorer.
I'd prefer to keep using chrome as my main browser which would include when I browse ebay.
Anybody have any advice?
Thanks,
Cliff

Have you tried using an ad-blocker -- eBay.ca has a bad habit of not properly checking the ads they display for bad behaviour.

I am using ad blocker but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the lag.
I also just updated chrome through settings but it still lags.

Actually ad blocker wasn't installed, it's working now without any lag.
I had pop up blocker installed thinking it was the same as ad blocker.
Thanks

I didn't realize until recently that each browser has specific ad blockers designed for it.
