Hello Devon,

Would there be any way to update the status/get responses for many of the recent "open" questions that have been posted? It's very difficult to know without serious testing/research if everything has been resolved or is still being looked into or could possibly be still valid concerns.

Hi @lotzofuniquegoodies! Are you referring to the open questions for the Expedited Lite shipping announcement? I know that all of the Shipping team has been working with myself to get responses complied that I can share once I have the green light.

HI-I would like to know if there is a resolution to the problem of my customers paying double VAT because the IOSS code does not seem to get transferred in the electronic mail label systems to some European countries.

I believe this was asked before by several folks who sell things like trading cards, coins, stamps and post cards but was never officially answered. All could be considered antiques but all do not have the free option for Gallery Plus. Is it only many of those sub-categories of antiques or should it be across the board for the free option. That feature is important to sellers who sell in those types of categories.

Just went to list an antique book and charge showing is 1.05. (1.00 + .05 GST.) Normally PST/GST is after the fact. Not pre-built in with eBay fees.

In regards to ebay Labels

Where are the receipts? With the tax amount paid by me as a seller for that label.Something I can download and save for my records

$7.18 was the cost for my one expedited lite label I printed. Showing I paid $7.18 is great in theory but I am a registered business and the tax paid to Canada Post for this label needs to be shown SEPARATE so sellers with registered businesses can claim appropriately. In Canada there is tax on all shipments sent domestic. How has this not already been fixed? ebay labels has been up and running for a long time, and I recall seeing in past monthly chat threads people asking about receipts back then with the tax breakdown.

@lotzofuniquegoodies I know that we offer free Gallery Plus in the Antiques, Art, Pottery and Glass and Collectibles category if the listing is a Good til Canceled for items up to $149. Here is a help page that goes over these charges and I have attached a screenshot with a breakdown below:

Hi @regs43! If you are needing a report that shows tax withholdings, you can go to your 'Payments' tab on your Seller Hub and at the bottom click on 'Reports'. It may take a little bit to generate but once it does you will get an eBay notification that it is ready to view. Here is the link for it: https://www.ebay.ca/sh/fin/report.

Hi, That did nothing! There is no information in that report for the past month, and the label I printed has already been charged to my count for the $7.18

ALL canadian domestic shipments have tax applied to the Base rate + fuel surcharge. Tax is added on top of these 2 amounts. When you buy a label on Canada Post site or Shippo etc you get a receipt RIGHT AWAY with the tax broken down as your buying the label. example below of what ebay labels NEEDS and should already have

devon@ebay, appears eBay is the first to roll out the Expedited Lite service for sellers -- kudos for that!

IF Canada Post tracking shows an Expedited Lite shipment has been delivered to a Canadian address but the customer reports the shipment was not received, will eBay accept the tracking as proof-of-delivery?

Suspect this rarely happens but have heard of a few instances where lack of a signature resulted in a customer's INR claim being approved by a marketplace facilitator.

Hi @avidhiker-33! If the buyer were to open up an item not received case, we would look to see if tracking shows delievered to the address used for checkout as proof of delivery.

Except "Antiques" are included as part of numerous other sub categories(blended in) going by the dot ca Category map. Then there is still the descrepancy of what sellers are seeing for the charge for that service. If the charge to use is 1.00 it should show 1.00 and not throw in 5 cents and then tax it again. As noted in my example an antique book is still an antique book. Sellers can routinely list in alternate categories but shouldn't be penalized for doing so.

Is there any way to opt out of Seller Hub other than doing so each and every time one ends up there??

When I went to package an order late April the 'Packing Slip' link had been removed from My eBay Selling and I was advised that a workaround was to print one from Seller Hub.

Seller Hub appears to be an excellent tool for sellers with hundreds or thousands of listings.

For casual eBay sellers/customers like me (roughly 330 sells, 170 buys over the past 2.5 years) 'My eBay Selling' is perfect for listing and monitoring items for sale, processing orders received, and navigating between buying and selling activities.

For me Seller Hub is a cluttered time-waster with little added value and I despise having to continually go through the opt out steps every time I end up there.
