Update regarding "Declined Payment Payout Waiting For Retry" for interested parties.
No I have not received any of my money from sales since beginning Managed Payments in January.
On March 2 I spent an hour with a Managed Payments specialist. He also did not disclose why thwe problem is happening. We manually reset my bank account numbers. Not the name just the numbers.
My impression is that some Sellers who register for Managed Payments start out with functioning accounts and then eBay's data is becomes corrupted. No one told me that. It's my hunch based on what I was asked to do.
The first MP specialist told me on Feb 24 my money would be deposited on or before Feb 28. That did not happen.
The second MP specialist told me on March 2 he could "expedite" the deposits happen on March 3. As well he promised to phone me directly on March 3 to confirm . Neither of those events happened.
Given it appears the bank information I initially supplied to eBay somehow became corrupted I became concerned their security may have been compromised so it seemed prudent to look for a news release.
On performing the Google search "ebay payout declined waiting for retry" 180,000 results came back. Apparently the issue has been ongoing in both the USA and Canada throughout 2020 and 2021. Here is a response to a Sellerdotcom question from eBaydotcom.. SELLER "

Sounds like millions of Sellers didn't get their payment this morning including me. Bank says they never had any incoming deposit for eBay this morning.
Ebay could you please update us on the issue and when it will be fixed. Your phones have blown up over there with 2 hour wait times and you have disabled the call back feature. You obviously know something is wrong. If eBay would just keep us informed.... But they never do." EBAYDOTCOM "
12-02-2020 10:31 AM There was an issue that affected payouts for a number of managed payments sellers on December 2nd, 2020. This issue has been resolved and all affected payouts were re-sent on December 2nd. We do not expect sellers to experience any delay in receiving their funds. Depending on your bank, your payouts should be reflected in your bank account in the next 1-4 business days. There is no action for you to take at this time.

That's the "DECLINED PAYMENTS/PAYOUTS" update for this week. If I find out will let you know if this has to do with data corruption or a data breach. One thing is for certain it doesn't matter if your Managed Payments has been fine all along. This is happening to "Any Seller "at any time.
