I think i no who painted it but i cannot find out if it might be worth anything, im new and any help would be great, i have a lot of paintings but don't no how to search them on line

I answered your other two threads: Perhaps it is Jacques Cordier. Other paintings attributed to the artist Jacques Cordier look similar to me but I am not an expert in this field.

One last thing:

If you're thinking of selling this on ebay, don't do it from an account that you just created with a zero feedback rating. Someone unscrupulous will think you are new to selling and try to take advantage of that. If you do want to sell it on ebay, ask other sellers for advice as to exactly what to do so that you don't accidentally do something that you might later regret. I don't like to see new sellers being taken advantage of. This looks like a nice painting, though.

If you believe it is valuable, you should spend the money to get it appraised by a recognized gallery.

Ask for authentication and for insurance value.

If you pay for an appraisal it should be written on the appraiser's letterhead.

You will not get insurance value for the painting. But it gives you something to consider.
