Adding Items To An Existing Sale Markdown

Has anyone figured out how to add items to an existing Sale Markdown? When I try to edit & add a new item, an error comes up stating you have to have a Store to do the promotion, which I obviously have.  I asked Tyler about this awhile ago & have never heard back. Very frustrating.

i would recommend just starting a new mark down sale, you can do as may as you want,  it is the easiest way..

I get weird error messages with certain Markdown actions but most allow me to continue doing what I intended regardless. Does your error message cause a full stop or can you carry on past it? Try to proceed beyond the error next time if you haven’t yet.
