Any Pool Noodle fans?

Anyone else a fan of pool noodles for packing? I ship some heavier gear and odd shaped stuff and use them pretty often. The compression is just right to cushion but not bottom out. Slices can be cut off for small items, cut in half to create corner protection and feet. Take 2 split sections to make a clam shell..just super flexible.

If you do use them Walmart is clearing them out right now for $1 each, including the Big Boss noodles that are normally $4 each. Last chance to stock up for winter shipping on the cheap.

Back to my wine sipping on the patio now!

Never thought of that. But it's certainly a good way to protect fragile items.

What a great idea! (Both the noodles for packing and the wine on patio!) I can see how cutting them into clam shell would be easy and effective for certain items! The people on here really are brilliant minds!

My classic noodle shot for a stereo amplifier.  Made it to Wisconsin safe and sound.

It is a good tip for heavier items, just make sure they aren't wet.

I saw pool noodles today at Dollar Tree and thought of this thread. They should be 1.25 or 1.50 each, but they didn't look very big.

They also have some shipping supplies.
