Buyer requests a refund

I sold a fridge power supply board, buyer receives it and wants a refund saying it doesn't work. Now, l know it works as l took it from my own fridge when l replaced it a few months ago. The power supply was working fine (as well as the old fridge), so l know l'm being scammed here. l tried sending a return label via EBAY  but they don't seem to do this, Ebay says l have to purchase one from some courier, scan it and send it. What a fricking farce! not the first time, the odds are staked well against you here

You can but the label on shippo or pirateship. Or you can offer to pay for the shipping up front for them to buy the shipping label, and they need to do the customs form - that is per eBay procedure.

Re: Buyer requests a refund

Where is the buyer located?
If he is in Canada, you can buy from Canada Post

https://sso-osu.canadapost-postescanada.ca/lfe-cap/en/login?stepupId=smb_mode1,consumer,commercial_l...

Or from any courier.

If he is in the USA, it is easiest to buy from Shippo, which will sell you a USPS label.

If the buyer does not return the item, you do not have to refund and eventurally the cost will be credited to

you

The buyer may even be right. Electronics are notoriously delicate and the piece may have dies in storage or in transit..
