Buyer unable to pay?

Hi, I got this series of messages today. The buyer is well established with 4000 feedback and quite  a bit of it is seller.

"i bought it now on the challenger maze
but may pay pal payment did not go thru

im trying to work it out so i can pay you"

"ive clicked buy it now several times
when i try to pay using pay pal ebay sends me this message:

This order was not successful. Order cost has not been included in the total amount. 

maybe sending me an invoice or offer will work
ive never seen this happen before."

"perhaps
revising your shipping may work

i think if you just up your price ($100. us)
and offer free shipping
it may work"

I recently had eBay favour against me on a dispute for another of the same item, could this be related somehow? Any idea what may be up?

Lately, I've had a similar problem when paying.

It was a problem with eBay logging into PayPal.

Suggest the seller go to PayPal, log in, and then return to eBay to make the purchase.

Everything went smoothly when I did that.

Its odd because I don't require immediate payment but I don't even see an eBay record of sale or anything.
