Has ebay invited you to register?

If you are not invited, then you are not in the current batch of sellers to be switched over.

The switch is being done in stages, it will be at least 2021 before ebay has finished the changeover.

You need a bank account for MP, and ebay will make daily or weekly deposits of your sales money (minus any FVF fees).  PayPal is not involved with ebay's MP.

Not sure how important it will be, but while Paypal accepts payments from most credit cards, as well as bank accounts and PP balances, Managed Payments also accepts payments from GooglePay and ApplePay.

All are anonymised and the seller only sees that the payment has been made and cleared.

@reallynicestamps

So if you process a refund it automagically returns to the original method of payment? Credit Card, Bank or ummm PayPal? Usual delays attached? They are still looking into sending a replacement invoice with MP on dot com. As far as I know there is currently no option for that other than Paypal if seller and buyer can exchange email addresses. Guess that was something they never considered for cases where a seller refunds for INR and then the item arrives and buyers "offers" to repay?

MBA vs Real Life experience.

There was a reason eBay hired "Griff" back in the day. Not sure how useful he is nowadays though.
