Hi,
Buddy and I struck up a deal for an item I listed. We agreed to $80 all in. I chnage the listing to $80, free shipping, and I wake up this morning to him asking me why the price is lower? I check it out on my phone, yes! The price is $53. I look at it on my laptop an it is $80. Luckily I have an honest customer.
What had happened the evening before, was I sent him in an offer for $53 (shipping was calculated and he lives in the US). With the shipping costs, he wasnt happy. I don't blame him, the item with CP would have cost minimum $58. I quickl researched with secureship and found him a rate for $45. So we agreed at $80 all in.
What he did, innocently perhaps, was accept my offer at $80.
This has taught me a lesson! Make the best offer has either been declined first! or ensure the aggreement with the customer is mutual for a higher, amended invoice.
Not sure if anyone here has encountered this, just wanted to give a heads up!
Cheers
Thank you!
