I feel like i have been played by ebay top rated seller status.

In August.1st I  became a top rated seller on ebay.CA but when I open my account as ebay.COM I was a power seller. there is no top rated seller status. I called and asked about why these two sites are appearing my status differently, Am I top rated seller or what? the ebay customer agent said " the system showed as you are eligible to be a top rated seller status. so you are." But i was still wondering and asked again " then why there is no  top rated seller status mark showing on ebay.COM? the agents said " it does not really matter, the system showing that you are".

When I checked my seller dash board there is 20% discount. so I spent insertion fees to listing new items little over my budget than what I usually spent for a month. AFTER 3 WEEKS LATER ebay took off my top rated seller status. REASON: I am eligible yet. shipping time is little lower than a standard. I had no question about it because Myself thougt that status is little too early for me.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE 20% DISCOUNT FOR THE LAST THREE WEEKS? I called and find the answer about this situation but there no record that I have given 20% discount status what so ever!  even one of the customer support agent said I never ever been a top rated seller.

If that was some kind of mistaken by ebay, shouldn`t I deserve to have credit?  this is so confusing, when I look at my invoice details in August, there is no records that 20% discount has been calculated  from the final value fee of each item I sold!

The 20% rebate for TRS only applies to the monthly invoice if you are a TRS at that time.

If the TRS was removed on the 20th of the month (that is usually the day eBay revises TRS status) then no discount will apply on the monthly invoice. The 20% rebate applies to the monthly total for FVF for transactions (not on shipping charges), not transaction by transaction.

As far as the difference between status on eBay.com and eBay.ca, yes there are two different sets of requirements and, quite frankly, I suspect the customer service representative have little knowledge of the difference between the two.

Canadian sellers who qualify for TRS on eBay.ca will see the TRS icon on listings when viewed on eBay.ca but not on eBay.com

I got the discount for the period that I have been TRS status. each item I sold! it was over $40.00 rebate.
