Late delivery

Buyer pays for an item on March 27-2022, item was shipped on March 28-2022, buyer left a positive feedback, EBay claims buyer complaint for late delivery.
How can I get a late delivery ding on my account if don’t control postal service deliveries specifically in Canada where winter stormy are common and usually delays flights and postal deliveries
I appealed and was denied, what a joke!!

Late delivery

If you don't have tracking on a package a buyer can say that an item arrived past the delivery time and you will get a late shipment ding.

If you have tracking and the number is entered on the transaction, you won't get a late shipment ding IF the package is scanned by the post office within your handling time OR it is scanned by the post office as having arrived by the estimated delivery date. So basically the only way to guarantee that you don't get a ding is if your tracked item is scanned within your handling time.

You can get a few late shipment dings before it is going to affect you.

Late delivery

This and all my shipments have a tracking number and it shows when it was shipped and accepted by post office. I really don’t understand why I got the ding when on the sellers protection states that a seller is not responsible for postal service delivery delays as long as item is shipped on time.

Late delivery

If it shows an acceptance scan within your handling time (the next business day)  then I don't know why you received a late shipment ding.  It also doesn't make sense why you lost the appeal.  I don't know if it would help as the transaction was over 2 months ago but you might want to contact ebay's customer service by sending a private message through Facebook or Twitter.  They can be helpful.
