It was announced on Facebook several weeks ago.

I stay away from Facebook. I have enough to do without it.

So my guess would be if Russ had not posted it here Ebay would not have either.

Seems like more gets put on Facebook and less on the boards. Maybe a sign of things to come?

Are the rats leaving the sinking ship?  

(I don't mean to imply Rodney was a nasty person, but rather that he's better placed to know what's happening than we are up here on the outside decks).

My guess is, he is also old school like so many of us and probably tired of all the changes and Canada constantly having a back seat to the US. He probably had little to say about anything that happened. If a better opportunity came up, all the more power to him as I really don't think Ebay has any loyalty to any staff which seems to be the norm for large corporations.

Probably got to him and figured it was time to leave.

Just my opinions.
