Selling with drop down boxes

I see a lot of members selling items using a drop down box if you have several similar  items such as sports cards.

HOW ??

That's my question How do you do this.

That's called a Variation listing and I don't have much experience with them personally but I do know that option is only available in some categories of sales and only on certain ebay sites. Like what might be commonplace as a practise on ebay.co.uk doesn't fly here.
