“The address doesn't match our postal records”

So, I’m trying to get set up with the new payment system, however it’s not letting me add a residential address. Is there anyway I can resolve this issue?

I know this is stupid, but does your mum live nearby? Or any relation that would forward your snail mail?

There has been an ongoing problem with addresses in newish suburbs where eBay and possibly Canada Post don't know you exist.  For those , some use the local municipal offices as an interim until you can correct it.
