Using two shipping from addresses

Hi, I am new and just trying to get shipping set up. I am in Canada and have a cross boarder shipper that provides a US address so that you can purchase domestic USPS. I am not sure what to do when shipping in Canada, as my primary address is set to the cross boarder in Montana. Is there a way to have domestic shipping in both US and Canada? I hope this is some what clear. Thanks!

If your listing is on dotCA, you must have Canada as a shipping destination.

It will be under Domestic Shipping.

Even if your address is in the USA (or China or Denmark).

You will also be able to use Calculated Shipping.

You will also be able to use Calculated Shipping  from your US address.

The question really comes down to whether you can use Calculated Shipping.

If you ar shipping from the USA with a listing on dotCOM, yes you can.

If you are shipping from the USA with a listing on dotCA, you are only able to use Flat Rate shipping from the US address.

Every time I read that, I still think my description is confusing, so my suggestion is to play with Test listings and see what you are allowed to do.

Just don't upload the test listing, it will hang around in Drafts for ages until you delete it.

I find using 90210 and K1A 0A6 as destination postal codes is useful .

Thank you very much. Getting my head around shipping has been my biggest barrier. I will try doing some testing today.

Perhaps an easier way to think of it is that domestic shipping is that of the host site country.

.COM is in the US so US addresses are domestic when you list on .COM

.CA is in Canada so Canadian addresses are domestic when you list on .CA

.UK is in United Kingdom so UK addresses are domestic when you list on .UK

Your ID can list items on both .COM and .CA (I list about evenly on both sites)

Note though this means that you can't have domestic shipping to both Canada and USA in the same item.
