Good evening,

I am a seller with no eBay financial account ( on eBay ). A buyer states paid for the  item. Than without my knowledge of that, he contacted me to give his money back. And to cancel the auction with my knowledge all trasactions should go through Pay Pal. That why ask if any finanancial payments eBay handles.

To sell on eBay (and get paid) you need to have a payment processor.

Until recently that was Paypal, but most sellers have now been moved to eBay's own Managed Payments.

Look at your Seller Hub (My eBay-> Selling-> Orders)

Is there an order there?

If not he didn't buy anything through eBay.  Ignore him.

If there is an order there, how do you receive payments?

Tell the buyer to

  1. Go to Purchase history - opens in new window or tab and find the order he wants to cancel.
  2. Select the More actions dropdown menu and select Contact seller.
  3. Choose Request to cancel this order, then Contact the seller.
  4. Explain to the seller why you need to cancel, and select Send.

This puts the request on eBay's radar and allows you to accept the cancellation which makes the refund automatic.

According to your listings, you are in Managed Payments, which is eBay's in house payment processor.

And you have one Sold item - a Newfoundland coin which sold for $450.

You should probably ask in Seller Central for a critque of your listings. (Those are more friendly than criticism). If you are selling high value items, you are currently open for a lot of scams.

Also DO NOT SHIP! Until you are sure you are paid.
