eBay says update iPad app but not yet available in Canada?

I use my iPad app for eBay selling when travelling and I have the eBay app installed. Yesterday it said I must update to new app to be able to use but when I click on the update button it says update not available in Canada. I haven’t updated for a couple of years, I liked the version I was using, but seems I have no choice now, that version no longer works. Any ideas?
