Ebay Store owners , do they still get the Promos?

I opened a store in January , just curious does ebay send store owners the 500 free auctions promo sometimes or are we not eligible ?

We store owners can definitely get listing promos.. There is no rhyme or reason as to who gets them, and when they will receive them.

Keep in mind that promos are for the benefit of eBay not for sellers.

Since eBay switched to paying dividends to their stockholders, there is less reason for them to pump up the stock price just before the quarterly reports.  Handing out promotions was one way to pump the price.

You can double the number of listings without increasing your fees by also listing on dotCOM.

You have to use US dollars and Flat Rate Shipping, but hey! free listings!

BTW- most buyers dislike paying shipping and hate paying more for shipping than for the actual product.
Flat Rate Shipping is easy with LetterPost, and Free Shipping (don't panic) just means putting the cost of the shipping into the asking price.

Which is the best price : a $6.99 photo with $15.39 shipping or a $22.38 photo with Free Shipping?  Or for that matter a $24.99 photo with Free Shipping?

You still get the promos every 3 months but the best one in a long time is now for sellers and 50000 extra listings per month free which is awesome to clear out $1 and $2 items you normally couldn't afford to list and take up slots

ZOMBIE thread from before the pandemic shutdown.

The free store auction listings are only for use in the Collectibles and Fashion categories.

From now until the end of the 2020 stores will have additional free BIN listings for some categories.
