Giving discounts for multiple items

Hello all,

I want to offer a 5 dollar discount for every 2nd and 3rd item bought in the same transaction.

Example:  All items cost 50 dollars.  The first item would be 50 dollars, the next item 45 dollars, the third 40 dollars and so on. 

Is there a way to do this on eBay?

On eBay?  NO.

Even if you could, I doubt very much it would bring added business.  I cannot see new buyers purchasing muliple quantities of your products until they have tried it and are satisfied.

You can offer a discount to your repeat buyers for direct purchases.

An alternative would be to have two listings:

1 - One item for $50

2 - Two items for $95

Same results, although I frankly expect little business for multiple purchases.

Some comments on your listings.

You may wish to correct your listings before they are ended by eBay for policy violations and you get strikes against you that may last for a year and affect you ability to sell.

1) Web site addresses are not permitted under eBay rules and is an eBay policy violation. You are not allowed to direct additional sales to that site either.

2) Unless you have explicit permission, you cannot copy and paste material from that web site in your listing.

Thanks for the advice everyone.  Just looking for ways to increase sales. 

Wasn't aware of any violations.  Will fix ASAP!
