Has the Canadian boards been hit with severe spam?

Have the Canadian boards been hit with pages and pages of spam from call girls ads, and pirated film stuff? 

The US boards are hit with this daily and Lithium does not seem to have a handle on it at all.

Wondering if this is universal this spamming of the boards?

I've noticed nothing on either the .ca boards or the .com discussion board I visit (too) regularly.
