BTW, the seller does not have to cancel your bid, and the reason you gave is not considered a valid reason for a bid retraction by eBay. Too many invalid bid retractions can result in eBay sanctions.

You  joined yesterday and already have a retraction. That is a good way to make a bad impression on potential sellers.
