If the seller chooses not to offer you a mutual cancelation request, he can open an unpaid item dispute. If he does, you then have 4 days to pay. If you still don't pay after 4 days, he can close the dispute and give you an unpaid item strike. If you receive 2 or more strikes in the previous 12 months, you will find it almost impossible to buy as most sellers have automatic blocks against sellers with unpaid item strikes.
