You may be right. Or it could be that some people just don't want to bother with the perceived hassle of changing their password on eBay. I can imagine a lot of people won't take the trouble to come back to the site for some time (if at all) for that reason alone. This, in addition to concerns about security issues, is not good news for sellers!
