Saw comments about this happening earlier today on the .com seller board and now I have the same situation:

Purchaser bought item this morning, PayPal shows paid today, Feb 21st, shows as sold in my Selling Mgr. as purchased and sold Feb. 21st but ebay order details (payment summary) shows purchased and payment date as Feb 20th.

Anyone else having this same problem happening? It just started today.

I guess someone at ebay forgot to turn over a page in their calendar!

Hope it gets fixed soon, it could affect TRS standings.

Look at where you live, and then where the buyer lives.... and did you list purchased item on eBay Canada or eBay US

on eBay Canada..... The date changes at midnight Toronto time

On eBay.com ... The date changes at midnight San Jose California time..

On eBay.com it can be California time.... February 20

on eBay Canada it can be Toronto time .... February 21.... Paypal is most likely also Toronto time...

Most likely the transaction was recorded as February 21 on eBay Canada and Paypal and the Sales Record as February 20 is on California time...

and ... I would guess that you listed on eBay.com... only my guess..... Then the record shows California time

The next shipping day for February 20 and 21 is Monday February 23.... the next business day....

Toronto at midnight is equal to California at 9:00 PM... and then look at the purchase time

No, that isn't the problem. 1st buyer purchased about 11:00 am EST, she lives within 40 kms of me. Just had another one, says purchased and paid Feb. 20th and today at 7:00 pm it is definitely Feb. 21st.

US sellers also proved that this was not due to time zones!

Just had a sale.... to a US Buyer.....PA USA

Everything says ...February 21......

(1) email from eBay indicating item has sold.... EST

(2) email from Paypal indicating payment was received... CST

(3) The record of the payment on the Paypal website.. CST

(4) Sale date and payment date on the Sales Record on eBay

The time frame was EST (Toronto) at 20:12 and CST (Winnipeg) at 19:12

I am registered on eBay Canada and list only on eBay Canada.

I am not finding the problem described by OP..... Several sales were checked.....No date problems.....

Linked to the order details page from the listing page... sold to that US, PA USA buyer...

The sold date on the listing page ....and ....sold date as well as paid date on the order details page all show February 21...

Checked other sales....No differences among recorded dates for each sale...

Well, must be something to do with listing on .com, which is where I list.

All the other complaints about this are from sellers who list on the .com site.

Sure wish ebay.com would fix their clock!

Okay, just thought to check using .ca and it shows correctly here. Its only a problem when logging on at .com so I'm reprinting my shipping details and not going to worry about anymore. Whew!

I see the same thing as you....sales and payment on order details showing a day earlier on .com and as the correct day on .ca. I saw quite a few posts about it on .com yesterday.

Even if it was on .ca it wouldn't affect your TRS status unless you are TRS plus on the U.S. site.
