I won an Auction (#7584165890)on Jan. 29 & I mailed a Royal Bank MO to the address the Seller requested. Later Ebay notified me the Seller is now NARU. I filed an 'Item not Received' eBay dispute on Feb. 9th.

The Dispute Console will not let me escalate this to a claim yet (March 3rd). Will it someday or what ?

Is there another option ?

Have you tried to contact the seller ? Maybe they will send your item even if barred from Ebay.

He sent me a email the day I filed a complaint to eBay, saying the Digital Camera I won has been mailed to me 'Today'.

I replied asking for the Tracking #, a week later I asked again.

Finally I got a rely that 'Oh, we don't use tracking #'s unless Requested, & you didn't Request one before we shipped, so sorry'.

It's been a month.

Smells.

Ebay contacted me today. My inability to change to a 'claim' is a glitch in their system & it will now be handled manually.

Oh....I had that happen to me too wsboyd. I bought some DVDs from a US seller and after I sent payment, they were NARU. I lost out on that one. No help.

(Hit ENTER to fast)

and now I have filed the complaint & faxed the details.

BTW, when did eBay change their 'insurance'?

Now I'm told only the 1st $200 is covered (except Shipping, and the $25 fee / deductible )
