So I have decided to try a "store" for one month to see if my sales increase. Does eBay promote your store? If not, how would I be getting more views/bids/buyers? I would hope that my listings are higher up in searches as I am paying for a store instead of just listing for free.

No, ebay will not promote your store and I don't think having a store guarantees more views than your listings would normally get.

You tend to run a lot of auctions and starting June 1 most of the categories that you list in get 100 free auction listings a month. With a store, a buy it now price on an auction listing is not free so while you have the store you might want to use more fixed price listings. Actually, you might have better luck with fixed price since auctions tend to do better for items high in demand.
