Although, personally, I think that the levels of competence eBay routinely dispalys would rule it out for me.

My business isn't large enough to consider using a fulfilment service but, even if it were, I would never give eBay any more control over my business...for pretty much the same reason.

Fulfillment...from China? In my categories (media) that would almost guarantee more of what eBay already does a questionable job of preventing: knock-offs and boots.

I agree doc. It will be even tougher to suspect that they might be fakes too since they will be coming from the U.S.
