I've had a claim made against me on Paypal as "Unauthorized Transaction". It was for a purchase made in January, a custom order. I've never had any contact from the customer, no feedback. I assume it arrived safely or surely the claim would be for non-arrival.
I'm guessing, therefore, this is a case of the unauthorized transaction being their end, i.e. a friend or family member using their Paypal account, and that Paypal are just checking there was an item purchased. I have furnished them with the documents they require, and I'll phone them this morning.
I'm not greatly distressed by this as it was a very small amount of money, but I'm curious as to whether anyone else has experienced the same thing, and what is known about the whole idea of it. I find it rather odd - the way it's worded makes it look as if I'm responsible, which is obviously impossible.
