eBay.com is hiding descriptions, must click to view description, test new listing?

While reading the eBay.com Selling forums, I cam across posts with a new eBay listing format where a buyer must click to see the description. Like what is done on eBay mobile apps for phones and iPad.

The mobile had screen size limitations so I can understand why there but on the main eBay site where buyers have larger displays? Seems very dumb to me.
