Recently started selling (again) on eBay to get rid of some of my inventory that's been listed on amazon. I've made a dozen or so sales so far and sure enough one of them as been "lost" already and the buyer wants his money back. The "lost" item is one of only two that I've shipped lettermail (which was the stated shipping method on the listing). On amazon I've shipped thousands of my orders as lettermail, and over the years at most a dozen customers have contacted me about orders they haven't received.
