scammed again...but thwarted this time

One of the items I sold on the weekend was to a 0 fb in Toronto.  Didn't pay any attention to the address getting all thestuff ready Sunday night

Today i get a return request with a very profain message to the effect that someone use their account and I "better do something to stop this."   The buyer doesn't know what they are doing to open a return request which I an just close anytime.

So I google the address and its one of these mail foward places.  The name provided to me to ship to was Russian.  I didn't expect there was anything I could do, but I called them up.  They instantly agreed to return the item to sender when it arrives.  So hopefully they follow through and I won't lose it

Not sure how someone lets their ebay and paypal accounr be used, then supposedly realizes it right after I confirm the item was shipped,   Haven't responded to the ebay return yet, usually would just ignore with the nature of the message sent

So hopefully its "almost" scamed with a Toronto address, while I've never been scammed to the many untracked directly to Russia

scammed again...but thwarted this time

I was Scammed by a Buyer in Toronto last year...

I sold a photograph and a few weeks later I received a "item not as described" Claim saying the photograph was a restrike.

I accepted the return because I couldn't be bothered to argue with the buyer.

He sends the package back to me with a Tracking Number and Signature Confirmation

eBay sees the Buyer sent back to the package through the INAD claim and prompts me to refund the Buyer.

I open the package and there's two pieces of cardboard and a Sports section from the Toronto Sun dated on the day the package was mailed out.

So he read his Morning Paper with breakfast and headed down to the Post Office.

I send the Buyer a message about the contents and he tells me the photograph was returned.

He leaves me Negative Feedback saying, "Seller Doesn't Refund".

Thankfully the Feedback Specialist at eBay Customer Service sided with me on this case and the Negative was removed.
