Given that a poll suggested that only 45% of Russians support Putin’s actions, it only makes sense that selling to and buying from Russia be an individual seller’s and buyer's choice.

As an FYI Ukraine mail with CP is currently suspended to the Ukraine. Mail is still permitted to Russia. As for delivery times that could be questionable. Many flights involving flights to Russia are now in limbo or on hold until further notice.

Ebay seems unconcerned that the West has all but severed economic ties with Russia.
At this very moment eBay is allowing sellers to sell Roubles in exchange for USD.
What do the folks at MP planning to do with those USD proceeds???
Here are a few examples.

Maersk Line, which handles about 20% of Global container shipments suspended all but foodstuff and medical shipments in and out of Russia today, their release is worth a read. UPS and Fedex have ceased service as well yet eBay continues to process sales requiring shipment from Russia.

This is very telling about the people who run eBay.
I hope this comes back on them and with the present sanctions in place they may be breaking the law.

EBay may not have to do anything.
Paypal, and some credit card companies, have suspended operations in Russia.
The sellers who may or may not support Putin, will not be able to get paid, assuming that most buyers are using cards or card processors to pay.
More concerning for sellers, is that their shipments TO Russia may be undeliverable and/or their Russian customers may not be able to pay them.

If you look at the Russian sellers listings today, they don't ship anywhere in the world. EBay seems to have blocked them from selling everywhere.
Listings from other sellers all seem to have excluded both Ukraine and Russia as ship to locations.
