Canada Search option

Somehow ebay no longer has the " Canada ony " in the search filters on ebay.ca , so as far as I can tell there is no way to find listings from only canada

Also there seems to be no way toinform ebay of this ... no email...the phone number does not reach a human

Have no idea if this will reach anyone

Bottom line ... how does it make any sense to be on a .ca site and not be able tofilter canada only goods ( I have always done this under " motorcycles" and "cars"

The voices on the phone are poorly trained subcontractors somewhere in Utah.

To communicate with actual trained employees with some authority you need the social media accounts.

(Who are likely also in Utah from a few things tyler@ebay has said.)

You will also get a transcript to review so you know that what you were told matches what you think you were told.

And just to confuse matters:

Some Canadian sellers use USPS to ship to their US customers via forwarders. Are they located in Canada or the USA?

Some overseas sellers (mostly Chinese) warehouse in the USA and ship orders from there. Are they located in China or USA?

The question comes down to duty (and sales taxes) and to delivery time. Although given an otherwise level playing field, I prefer to buy Canadian.

Re: Canada Search option

Sometimes the filter/option is hiding about a third of the way down in the page just above the listings in a specific category  : click all filters and a new box opens with more search options .... the option for World Wide does actually get cut off in the little box page that opens....

I've seen similar happen on many occasions. Hidden or missing. Canada option is finicky with dot com listings. Another choice would be using closest. Not good if you are in BC because in many cases brings up listings for Asia vs Canada or USA. If you are optimistic shipping could be potentially cheaper when location is closer. Sadly not always.
