A US perspective on shipping ANYTHING that has a Lithium Ion Battery included

Stumbled across this discussion on the dot com board earlier today. Unsure if it will cause the same or similar havoc for Canadian sellers but important to research and make sure any applicable listings are following the rules.  This would apply to power tools, cell phones, Laptops, digital cameras...The list goes on.

Hazardous goods policy as per dot ca.

The interpretation can vary (depending who you talk to) when it comes to Ion Batteries installed or shipped  separately. Ground vs air. Intl vs domestic. Off to confirm none of my listings fall in any sort of grey area. See post 7 for from Devon on the subject. @dinomitesales Does CP have autorized labels stating applicable parcels cannot be moved by air?

Disclaimer: Post above is a US seller and their experience with listings being randomly pulled. Your experience(s) may vary.  This may dramatically affect purchasing these types of items going forward.
