Update to Canada Post International Lithium Battery Policy
Due to safety concerns, lithium batteries installed in devices will no longer be accepted in international mail. Note that lithium batteries installed in a device may be mailed to the U.S. as they travel by ground service. This change will not impact devices with lithium batteries shipped within Canada.
Common items that contain lithium batteries include (but are not limited to): mobile phones, laptops, tablets, rechargeable ear buds, e-readers, cameras, watches, rechargeable toys and games.
