What is this type of auction called, and how do I set one up as a seller?

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/WWE-WWF-NXT-Wrestling-Kid-Child-Toys-Mattel-Elite-Action-Figures-Defining-Mom...

I have a number of figures of my own I'd like to sell and I'd like to do it in a similar fashion as opposed to 80 or 90 separate auctions, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to set it up. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Given that the seller is being criticised for selling counterfeits, slow delivery and poor communication, he may not be the one to imitate.

I think what he is doing is showing dozens of figures but each purchaser only gets one.... at random.... which he does not state.

That being said 85% of transactions on eBay are Fixed Price and not auctions.

So many red flags there.    Definitely not a seller to imitate.  Maybe the idea of doing something like that appeals to the OP but I would start small just one or two variations.   I have seen it done successfully with sizes and colors, if fact I just purchased something on ebay that I had to pick the color.  Worked perfectly.  Also if he has 108 different items doesn't he get charged for listing 108 items?  I know that when I list more than one, I get charged for the extra listing.

Pretty sure it's treated as a single listing. But it would count towards a selling limit.

However eBay does say:

Using a single listing with variations to try to sell different products in order to avoid fees is a violation of our policy on avoiding eBay fees and can cause poor search and buying experiences.
